A huge construction
project on US Highway 41 will at times affect the area south of
Appleton... near Neenah and Oshkosh, and also near
Green Bay. Be prepared to allow
extra travel time if using Hwy 41 -- and, remember that construction
zones during this huge highway project will vary. It started in 2010
and runs thru

HIGHWAY 41 PROJECT -- WEB SITE Be patient, and allow extra
time if you will be going through construction zones! It
will include about 17 miles of highway in Winnebago County from
2009-2014, plus 14 miles in Brown County from 2010-2017.
The construction includes: traffic lanes expanded from four to
six-ten lanes; 16 US 41 interchanges improved, with 13 of those
interchanges completely rebuilt; 44 roundabouts added; 17 traffic
cameras installed along US 41; and an eight-lane Lake Butte des
Morts Causeway.
